For a long time, luxury meant a famous name: a logo, a shop window, a box everyone recognised. Today, true luxury is something else. It is handmade jewellery, made upon request, by a jewellery maker you can meet, talk to and trust. A piece that exists only once, and only for you.
In my Hatton Garden atelier, I see it every day. My clients are not looking for what everyone else has. They want bespoke jewellery made with time, care and attention.

Why Handmade Jewellery Is the New Luxury
Most jewellery today is mass-produced. It can be beautiful, but it is designed for everyone, and so for no one in particular. Handmade jewellery is different: every setting, every solder joint and every curve of gold is shaped and checked by hand.
I trained as a goldsmith in Palermo, Sicily, learning heritage techniques that are now close to disappearing: filigree, granulation and fire enamel. These methods cannot be rushed or automated, and that is exactly what gives a handmade piece its soul.

A piece made upon request begins with a conversation, not a catalogue. We talk about you: your style, your everyday life, the story you want your jewellery to tell. It might be an engagement ring, a pendant to celebrate a birth, or an heirloom stone waiting for a new life.

How a Jewellery Commission Works
Every commission follows four simple steps:
- Consultation. We discuss your ideas and budget, at my Hatton Garden atelier or online.
- Design. I prepare sketches and suggest gold, gemstones and finishes, refining them with you.
- Making. I craft your piece by hand at my bench, using traditional goldsmithing techniques.
- Delivery. You receive a one-of-a-kind piece that didn’t exist before you imagined it.

Reasons to Commission Bespoke Jewellery
- It’s truly unique. No one else will wear the same piece.
- It carries meaning. Every detail can hold a memory, a symbol, a name or a date.
- It’s made to last. Handmade jewellery can be repaired, resized and passed down for generations.
- You know your maker. Behind your piece there is a face, a name and a story.
- It’s made for you. Size, weight and comfort are designed around your life.
A Jewellery Maker in Hatton Garden, London
Since opening my independent atelier in 2017, after years at a renowned Mayfair jeweller, I have created bespoke jewellery in London for clients who want more than what’s in a shop window. Each piece is made by hand in my workshop in Hatton Garden, London’s historic jewellery quarter.
How long does a jewellery commission take?
It depends on the design and techniques involved. Most pieces take a few weeks from final design to completion. I’ll give you a clear timeline at our first consultation.
Can I use my own gold or gemstones?
Yes. Family stones and heirloom gold can often be reworked into a new piece made upon request.
Do I need a finished design before I contact you?
Not at all. Many commissions begin with just an idea, a feeling or a photo. We’ll develop the design together.

Begin Your Own Commission
If you’ve imagined a piece of jewellery that doesn’t exist yet, I’d love to hear about it. Every commission starts with a simple conversation.
